Finding Strength in Yoga
Hi! My name is Blossom Law. You can call me ‘Blossom Being Yoga’ or just ‘Blossom’ to make sure that I’m not a law firm, lol. I’m a Yoga instructor, an artist and a mom of 2 little boys. Here’s my story…
Growing up, I was always the weak kid. I hated PE class and dreaded any kind of physical activity. People would say, “this girl is weak,” and I believed them. Yoga seemed like a gentle way to exercise, so I decided to give it a try. From the first session, I was hooked. The blend of movement and deep breathing was both meditative and strengthening, and I fell in love.
From a girl who hated to move, I began running, headstands became my favorite pose, I started swing dancing, learned to do handstands, and have been open to trying all kinds of activities ever since.
From Thailand to Houston
Before I moved to Houston—oh, I forgot to mention I was born and raised in Thailand! My life there was full of creativity. I worked as an artist, graphic designer, illustrator, published writer, and swing dance teacher. It was fun and dynamic. But when I moved to Houston, my focus shifted to family. I became a full-time mom, using all my skills to create a loving home and teach yoga!
The transition wasn’t easy. After moving and having two kids, I struggled with postpartum depression for years. I didn’t recognise the unhappy, out-of-shape woman in the mirror
But with 2 kid next to me, I have to survive and have to be in an okay shape, right? It’s the must! All I knew is Yoga so I started practicing yoga again and more regularly, often with my kids playing around me. It wasn’t a perfect setting for a yoga practice, but it was something I truly needed for myself. Yoga became my lifeline during this tough time.

Yoga: My passion and My Lifeline
The changes were incredible. I gained muscle, lost excess weight, felt happier with my body, and eventually stopped needing depression medication which is the biggest milestone. I did so many things I never thought I could do. I learned a lot about self-care and how to prioritize my well-being. I learned a lot about how to play with my edge and go a tiny further each time. And overall I realized I more I invested in myself, the better version I became, both for me and for my family.
I experimented with countless techniques, discovering what worked best for me. Through trial and error, I uncovered the practices that truly resonated with my body and mind. Now, I want to share these insights with others. Yoga brought me back to my true self, and I’m dedicated to helping others find their path to wellness. My mission is to guide my student through their own journey, to help them discover their strength, balance, and peace. Together, we can explore the transformative power of yoga and embrace the best versions of ourselves. Yoga is not just a practice; it’s a way of life, a path to well-being, and a journey to inner peace.
