From Personal Struggles to Professional Passion
There was a time when I struggled with my weakness and persistent back pain and knew I needed some form of exercise to keep my body functioning. However, the thought of joining a yoga studio was intimidating. Everyone there seemed like an expert, moving gracefully through advanced poses in beautiful, professional outfits. I felt out of place and overwhelmed.
One day, my path crossed with a wonderful teacher who offered one-on-one sessions. We met a few times each month, and she provided me with exercises to practice on my own. The personalized attention was transformative. I learned so much and so deeply about my body and how to alleviate my pain. This experience opened my eyes to the world of one-on-one yoga.

Discovering the Power of Individualized Attention
Years later, as a yoga instructor, I sought to refine my handstand skills. This led me to the other yoga instructor, the other chapter of private lesson. We worked together in almost a one-on-one setting, both online and offline. It was one of the best experiences of my life. It confirmed for me that individualized instruction, regardless of the medium, can be incredibly effective.
In group yoga classes, Both as a student and instructor, I realized that each body is unique, and everyone has different goals. This understanding deepened my passion for working privately with students, tailoring each session to their specific needs.

I was VERY new to Yoga and really didn’t know what to expect, other than to expect to be terrible at the practice. I met Blossom and she was lovely. She understood that I was a novice and that the Yoga movements and poses weren’t natural or intuitive to me. Blossom was super-patient and never made me feel like an imbecile LOL. She offered gentle corrections and encouragement. I was suffering from a back injury and she was mindful of that and constantly checked with me on my pain level, etc. Sometimes her cats would wander in to check my form- it was nice to have another opinion. 😉
Blossom’s one on one instruction was exactly what I was looking for and I look forward to studying with Blossom further and continuing my yoga journey. I highly recommend Blossom to anyone looking to get into yoga or continue their practice with an amazing instructor.
